Pricing
Microcement & MCM Pricing in Phoenix
Installed price ranges for Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and the Phoenix metro, so you know the number before you call.
Real numbers, before you call
Most contractors won't put a number on microcement until they've seen the room. We'd rather you know the range first. Every price on this page is installed: material, prep of a sound surface, application by our own crew, and the top coat.
Your exact price comes from the Measure & Spec Visit. We measure, check what's underneath, agree the tone and texture, and give you a fixed number.
- Prices assume sound existing tile, drywall or concrete underneath
- Tear-out, leveling and custom tones are priced at the visit
- Ranges cover Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and the Phoenix metro

Microcement
Microcement, installed
| Walk-in shower, walls and pan | $6,500 to $9,500 |
|---|---|
| Full bathroom: floor, walls and shower | $12,000 to $20,000 |
| Floors | $16 to $24 per sq ft |
| Walls | $14 to $22 per sq ft |
| Fireplace surround | From $3,500 |
| Minimum project | $3,500 |
Large open floors land toward the low end per foot. Small rooms and showers carry a job price, because the crew makes the same trips for coats and drying time whatever the square footage. More on microcement showers.
MCM flexible stone
MCM, installed
| Interior accent or feature wall | $28 to $40 per sq ft |
|---|---|
| Fireplace surround | From $4,500 |
| Exterior facade | $24 to $34 per sq ft |
| Minimum project | $4,500 |
Exterior prices assume a sound wall to set on. New backer board and weather barrier are priced at the visit. More on MCM flexible stone.
What moves the number
Where your job lands in the range
- Size: bigger areas cost less per foot
- Wet or dry: showers and wet rooms take the two-component top coat on every surface
- What's underneath: sound tile or drywall is in the price, tear-out and leveling are not
- Detail: niches, curves, stairs and returns take more hand work
- Tone: the eighteen standard tones are included, custom tinting is extra
Questions we get
Before you call
Why is a shower priced as a job and not per square foot?
A shower is small in square feet but takes the same number of trips as a large floor: primer, base coats, finish coats and top coat, with drying time between each. The price follows the crew's days on site as much as the area.
Is microcement cheaper than tile?
Not per foot of material. Where it often comes out ahead is going over existing tile: no demolition, no dumpster, and the room is back in use sooner. At the visit we tell you whether your tile can stay.
What does the Measure & Spec Visit cost?
$500 for microcement or a single bath, $1,500 to $2,500 for MCM, windows or multi-trade work. It's credited toward your project either way. Before that, the first step is a free 20-minute call with Thomas.
Is there a minimum?
Yes. $3,500 for microcement and $4,500 for MCM.
